Due to some personal reasons of mine, I have decided to leave Skream Your Lungs Out. Gave a lot thought about that, but I made up my mind. I enjoyed my stay here and I have met some nice people, but it’s time to move onto some new projects. I’ll miss this place for sure and remember it fondly…

I am opening a new blog called “Natures With No Plagues” (found here) for sharing music and writing about releases, gigs and stuff, so those of you who have enjoyed my posts in the last year(s) I hope you join me over there as well. And also I hope the remainder of the SYLO crew would like to have me as a partner blog.

Hey guys, long time no see (and I suppose my English get very bad over that time haha )!
Yeah, just wanted to post something new and I also want to thank everyone out of here. I never thought, SYLO would become that famous ever.

I still can remember as I created a Blogspot blog to upload some music. A black standard layout and no visitors. And now, you just have to search Google for “Skream Your Lungs Out” and you’ll get over 6,000 (on the German Google you’ll get almost 7,000 by the way) results.

Back to topic.. Thanks to everyone, especially to xmoonXhowlerx who is still motivated and uploads music. As far as can I see, no one else of the uploaders does that (or am I wrong!?). Thank you, all you blog partners. I have to admit, that I’m not able to read any blogs anymore.. And I’m also not THAT into screamo anymore.

So.. I know how hard it is to run a blog. I still got no time to upload some albums (it takes ages for me :S), to read or fulfill requests, check our partners list or add some of them. So excuse please, if we don’t add you or your request don’t get any attention…

But I have to say, I definitely like this. Completely chaotic at times, while sometimes very slow, the four songs bring some various elements. Check them out!

notes: Ok, for a start, let me just tell you this – this band is purely amazing, period. So. Much. Ass. Kicking. Thom, a member of Carrion Spring sent me a message to take a listen to their two song demo, saying that they draw influences from bands such as Kidcrash, Envy, Logs… And they oh-so justify that statement. Brilliant work, the demo left me quite speechless. They have a four-way split coming out soon (with The Discord of a Forgotten Sketch , Beau Navire , Te Lloraría un Puto Río), I’m looking forward to it very much. Download this, trust me, this is something you put on your top releases list.

notes: As requested, here is the outstanding Time To Burn. Brilliant chaotic and explosive songs drenched in a sad and melancholic tone, these guys bring some really unique tunes. As far as I remember, it was this band that actually got me interested in the whole Post-Hardcore/Metal genre. They were on a bit of break as far as playing goes, but as of late they have announced a few shows, so be sure not to miss those if you can. Aside of Is.Land, they have one more excellent release called “Starting Point”. Enjoy.
