    country: Japan

Before I make this post I want to reiterate as I did before. I feel bad for posting this, but I feel like it deserves to be heard. This album has yet to be released so please do everything you can to support this band. People in the USA please go see their tour (dates on their myspace). People elsewhere, I’m sure you’re probably already pre-ordered this (I know I did), but if not it’s worth having a physical copy.

notes: Envy is a very influential screamo/post-rock band from Japan. With this release they seem to be slightly straying away from the screamo sound and focusing even more so than earlier on post-rock. Musically, Recitation sounds very much like Explosions in the Sky and the like. However, sections of past faced punk rock styled skramz is incorporated to provided a unique style. As usual for Envy, spoken poetry is a very powerful force on this album. The music is very moving and when the vocals are screamed it hits the core of your heart. If you are expecting a strongly screamo powered album, you might let down. If you know Envy lately, you shouldn’t be. But if you just want to hear intensely beautiful music you won’t be.

    genre: screamo/post-rock
    country: France
notes: Sed Non Satiata is a post-rock influenced screamo band from France. This is their newest release and is arguably one of the best releases of the year so far. It seems to be less of a screamo album and more of a post-rock album but is still amazing in every respect. If you’ve never heard of this band definitely check it out. One of the best active screamo bands imo.

notes: Apparently, the guys from Rosa Parks are a bit shy, so Botond from Itai Itai asked me to post their ep if I like it. And I like it. Very much in fact. I took a listen to it only once though, but it was love from the first tune. Check them out, quite fine music.

    bitrate: 128 kBit/s
    genre: Post-Rock
    country: Serbia
notes: If you boys and girls read my occasional show reviews, you know that I first encountered this band way back in July and from then on I have been waiting for their recorded material. So finally it’s here! I’ll be completely honest, this is by far the most outstanding music from Serbia which came out in quite a while! Two mind-blowing songs with nine minutes of both slow and exploding fast tunes, Went really offers vast enjoyment. Check them out definitely, it’s worth your time!

Uhm yeah. I checked their Myspace out and I really can say that it’s worth to check it out. If you like it, buy it and go to their concerts.
    Good job, guys.
