Guidelines is a screamo band from New Jersey, USA. They recently released a self-titled EP containing 4 amazing tracks. This EP is heavy and chaotic like Loma Prieta with soft melodic interludes like Beau Navire or Suis La Lune. I particularly love the vocals, but the instrumentation is amazing as well. Easily a contender for one of the best EP releases of the year so far. If you haven’t checked out their 2010 release, Rules of the Sife, it is available on their bandcamp. Also, if you’ve ever met these dudes you know that they rule, so support ’em!
